Welcome to Icondraw for Windows 3.0 Version 1.2
-----------------------------------------------
This is a shareware program, which I developed as a utility to help others
in their pursuit of an ultimate graphical interface, fitting their needs to
the fullest extent. I also developed it for personal reward. Now I would
like to share it with others.
This application is an icon editor, where you can make your own 16-color, 32x32
pixel icons which fit into the PROGMAN perfectly. The following lists the steps
required to change an icon in the PROGMAN (Program Manager):
1. Save the Icon to a file with an .ICO extension.
2. Click on the icon in the PROGMAN which you wish to change ONCE.
3. Choose File Properties.
4. Click on the "Change Icon.." button.
5. Type in the name of the icon with the full path. (e.g. "c:\windows\myicon.ico").
6. Click on OK, then on OK again.
PRESTO! you will notice that the icon you specified now is visible in the
PROGMAN.
Version 1.2 Improvements:
1. All bugs are fixed as far as I know. Otherwise the features are the
same.

Shareware Version 1.2
**************************************************************************
P.S. I have developed an enhanced version targeted for retail. If you are
interested in this, the following features will be available:
1. Grid for visual aid and accuracy.
2. Undo to cancel the last editing action including full clipboard support.
3. An icon library browser called LibView, which allows you to extract any
icon from any icon library into Icondraw for editing as an icon file.
4. A Clipboard feature which copies the entire path of a saved icon to the
clipboard so that it can be easily pasted (Shift+Ins) into the Program
Manager File Properties Change Icon dialog box.
5. A help file which takes advantage of the Windows 3.0 Help System.
6. An Icon Pasting feature which allows you to paste any 32x32 icon into the
drawing area of Icondraw. There is also a similar function which
7. TRANSPARENCY!!! This means you can have a clear icon background.
8. Finally, there is a manual, an appliation launching utility called
AutoApps, 6 icon libraries, and 40 icons for you to customize, with a
total of 440 icons images total.
